Glen Mary, built in 1848 on a commanding hilltop in Middle Georgia, provides a unique venue for the enjoyment of the visual and performing arts. Regarded as one of the nation’s finest remaining rural examples of High Greek Revival “raised cottage,” it strikingly combines splendid classical architecture with a beautiful rural setting that remains largely unchanged since 1850.
